Hey Ladies,
Well eight months after our son Nicholas was born and passed away we
were ready to try again.
We had three blastocysts tranferred on July 3rd and on July 15th we
got a positive pregnancy test. We are cautiously optimistic at this
point and here is why: When I got the positive test with Nick my HCG
#'s were 211. When the RE phoned they told me that I was "VERY
pregnant" and sure enough I was. The pregancy went perfect. With
this little guy my HCG level was 72, this time they said "the number
was not as high as they like to see it". But the next #'s were 174
then 575. Good thing right? (doubling every 48 hours). Our ultrasound
is on August 11th and I'm having nightmares that they are going to
tell me it is a blighted ovum and not a viable pregnancy. Anyway
ladies this is where I need your help. If you can remember, what were
your HCG #'s and did any of you have lower #'s and a baby at
ultrasound?
