I joined this group very recently. I am 30 years old and so is my DH
to whom I have been married for almost five years now. I have been
trying to conceive for the past three years and have been a miserable
failure.
I never expected to have any problems whatsoever, and initially when
almost eight months passed, I was not asking too many questions about
it.
When the realization dawned that something may actually be wrong, we
had a series of tests done..... till date I have had four IUIs, a D&C,
a laparoscopy and others.
Essentially, I had regular periods but my doctor found that my uterus
was 'retroverted' in every sonography I had. The tube patency was okay
and ovaries looked fine. On their own, there was ovulation. We did not
have any lifestyle disorders and neither me nor my hubby boozed or
smoked.... With the passage of several cycles, it was discovered that
I had a dubious IgG-IgM level. With six months of TB treatment, we
were over that hurdle as well. Latest findings: Prolactinemia,
Endometriosis (mild), Chocolate Cyst in right ovary, non-responsive
left ovary, unruptured follicles, hyperstimulation of the right ovary
after induction and the cycle still ends with a cipher.... I am
depressed totally..... As of now, the doctor just labels my cause of
infertility as 'unexplained'. My sis-in-law recently conceived with
three months of giving up on contraception..... Aaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!
