Difficulty with bottle feeding

by Ducky <tinamtong@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jun 10, 2008 at 08:18 AM

My baby just turned two months old today. We have been trying to get
him to take the bottle for almost four weeks now.

We tried Dr Brown, Evenflo and BornFree. He has taken an oz from Dr.
Brown and BornFree, but nothing much since the first couple of
attempts.

I am going back to work in July, so I still have a few weeks to try.
My husband gives him the bottle usually in the evening.

Yesterday, an LC told me to give him the bottle for an hour, in 10-15
minutes intervals. She said he will either take it or fall asleep and
not to nurse him till the next feeding. But, I kept reading that we
should not force it to make it an unpleasant experience.

We are really frustrated and would really appreciate some advice and
suggestions.

Thanks, Tina
