Today's court sentencing - I am just stopping in quickly to let you all
know I am back home. It was very anti-climatic, and really healing and
good
for all of us. We waited for 2 hours in a very comfortable room with a TV
and her old counselor and 2 of her friends and it was as if we weren't
even
in a court atmosphere. When the time came we went upstairs. She said what
she had to say, he didn't even look at her but she was AWESOME, and they
didn't let me speak which was fine. I only wanted to say something because
it didn't sound like she was going to. It was great, and I'm really really
proud of her. Thank you all so much for your sup****t and kindness. It
brings
tears to my eyes to think of how many people have encouraged and loved us
through this. DH is taking me out for lunch now, a rare couple hours alone
to spend with him. Whoooohooooooo!
With hope and heart,
Kathleen
