Hi Guys,
I managed to find the Comic 2-packs in Wal-Mart this morning. I
grabbed a set for me and a set for my friend. As I was handing him
his, I made mention to how cool Destro's head was. And he says, it's
the same as the IG Destro. Hmmmm, I thought. So, when I dug mine out
of the trunk, I had a black chrome head with red eyes. It looks
awesome! The comic shows the black head, the small art piece in the
front of the packaging shows the gold head. So, I guess they are
covered either way. I am glad to have stumbled across a variation for
myself. I often read about them and search for 'em, but up until now,
haven't found one.
The Falcon could usea repaint of the Jungle boots. Someone dropped
the ball there. He also does not come with a pistol for his leg
holster. Easily rectified by a Marauders .45 1911 I have. The
Nemesis I can take or leave. He's BIG! But, I still feel COBRA-LA is
LAme.
The comics are not very good. I liked the Tripwire/CC one for the fun
of it. But, the Falcon/Enforcer comic was Blah! I'll have a crack at
the Destro/IG comic tonight.
They were $9.88 at Wal-Mart.
