Well, Shtoonk is actually a word from a sticker from Mad magazine from
years ago. The sticker read "Shtoonk is always spelled with two O's."
Odd statement, but it has always stuck with me for probably the past
30+ years.
Shtoonk is now the name of my blog about my G.I. Joe collection. It's
off to a slow start, but I'm getting more regular with it. Why
Shtoonk? Why not? Hopefully, it will be memorable!
My very first post on the blog is acknowledging that Shtoonk is not my
original thought and probably came from the great Don Martin's work in
Mad Magazine.
