Hello!
I thought fellow board members would be interested in the upcoming
International My Little Pony Convention would be of interest to you.
The first International My Little Pony Convention to be hosted within
the UK is set to take place at The Platform in Morecambe, Lanca****re,
England on the 27th November 2004 from 10am - 4.00pm and is open to
the general public. The convention is already attracting My Little
Pony fans from as far away as Ireland, Holland, Sweden, Italy and the
USA! We are expecting 300 people to attend!
We have already had publicity all over England including at the BBC
website(http://www.bbc.co.uk/lanca****re/lifestyle/2004/06/03/victoria.shtml)
and many different newspapers including a national!
The day will be fun filled for both adult and younger collectors with
many events taking place throughout the day. Featuring:
1. Games
2. Raffles
3. Competitions with rosettes to be won
4. My Little Pony Displays
5. A gallery featuring the work of many My Little Pony artists
6. Stalls
7. Tutorials
8. MLP Body Art
9. Dance show
and much, much more!
We are also very please to add that we have the renouned professional
artist Sarah Ann Small teaching pony customistation throughout the day
and a very special guest from the USA author of the World of My Little
Pony: A Collectors' Guide, Debra Birge who will be more than happy to
sign a copy of her book for you and answer any My Little Pony
questions you might have.
Stalls are available to all. You can purchase any type of My Little
Pony stall from a display stall to display all your beautiful My
Little Ponies to the public; a trader stall for selling/trading any
ponies you have or even a stall for your own competition, custom My
Little Pony items etc. The possibilities are endless. Stall prices are
as follows: display stalls: £5.00, trader stalls £8 - £10 depending on
the size required, all other stalls £3.00.
Tickets are available to pre-order but will also be available on the
door. Ticket prices are £2.00 for adults and £0.50p for children.
Pay and display car parking facilites are available next door to The
Platform for easy access to the convention. There is also a very large
car park behind The Platform which is also pay and display.
For those travelling from afar maps are available on request. Hotels

Collectors travelling from other countries will be please to know that
although the convention is only a one day event there are plans for
MLP picnics, video nights and other exciting activites for those
staying in the UK for a few days.

All profits from the convention are being donated to the Horse and
Pony Protection Association who will be attending with a stall on the
