And there's this episode called "The Ghost ****p," written by Antoni
Zalewski. It starts out with Firestorm, Superman, and Cyborg in a
****p in space, and are then being chased by Darkseid in one of his
****ps. This event, and others afterward, including Darkseid's
continuous pursuit of their ****p; then shooting missles at it; Supes
saying something like they only have one option; the missles shown
blowing up the ****p; then it turning out they had gotten to an escape
shuttle just in time; quicking running into a massive metal object in
space with one of them saying, "It must be the size of Manhattan!";
boarding it; and with Darkseid and his assistant also finding and
boarding same object; then being the first to leave; are all VERY
similar to around the first half of the G1 ep "Dark Awakening," an
episode ALSO written by Antoni Zalewski. Did anyone else catch this?
Does anyone know why he did this?
The copyright date to SPT:GG is 1985, and Dark Awakening came out in
1986.
