There's this thing I do from time to time where I take perfectly
decent toys and horribly slaughter them with a hobby knife and super
glue and model paints. I think it's a sickness. (I suggest sending
me money; I'm sure it will speed my recovery.)
So, I came up with a couple more Robot Heroes repaints. Ever since I
first heard they were doing Robot Heroes versions of Blitzwing and
Sunstreaker, I decided that I absolutely had to do versions of these
guys, since I am a bad, naughty parent and I do tend to play favorites
when it comes to generic characters I've discovered (read: invented).
Anyway, whether you're a fan of Marvel Comics or the Sunbow cartoon,
I've got you covered. One of them is Commando Raid, a crowdfiller
from "Five Faces of Darkness" part 4; the other is Cherry Bomb, an
Autobot you may or may not remember from Marvel Comics issue #5.

I also did another Marvel Comics character, this one from issue #4,
whom I've named Crossroads. This one is made from a Brawn keychain
toy so it actually transforms--and my goodness, is the vehicle form
ever something to behold. Preferrably from a distance. With your
monitor turned off.

The baby and I have also been watching lots of Knight Rider. It's
kind of our daytime routine. Get home from work, fix a bottle, watch
David Hasslehoff talk to a car for 45 minutes. It's great stuff.
Anyway, despite being a big fan of K.I.T.T. I basically own no Knight
Rider merchandise, which is clearly a problem, so I've been buying up
die-cast Trans Am toys to butcher them and turn them into things that
don't exist in real life. This one is my first K.I.T.T. project.
There will be more. (Super Pursuit Mode is somewhere on the top of
the list. Not sure if I'm doing a convertible version or not.)

This month's update isn't actually finished yet, because there are
still some pictures I need to take and edit and upload, but I am
currently employed as a part-time Baby Slave and it's difficult to
find time to do non-baby related things, so right now this newsgroup
is the ONLY place you can find links to these projects. Because I
love you people just that much. Well, and because I'm an approval-
seeker and getting feedback for these projects makes me happy.
I don't have a .zip file set up yet, so hopefully Fortunecity will let
you view the images. If not, you'll just have to wait until I
actually finish the update. Hopefully it won't take too long.
