I just read this article on macrumors and I got a small kick out of
Steve Jobs being lazy. From the article:

readers. The email was in response to a complaint that AT&T is not
offering a tethering option for the iPhone, even though it is offered on
other smartphones as a $30/month add-on. The response acknowledged Apple
and AT&T were discussing the option:

After reading that, the first thing that came to my mind was: I don't
remember Steve Jobs coming here and discussing this with any of us . . .
