For Amy D and all of you early elementary teachers out there, I
suggest visiting the site www.literacyempowerment.org . This site
is devoted to teaching young children how to read, AND gives free
books to early el teachers. You just have to pay ****pping and
handling. There are a lot of options, so be sure to browse the
selections. I haven't tried it yet, but I have heard good things from
other educators. With one option you get books free except for the
$0.65 s&h fee. Good luck!
