Colored Jigsaw USA/States Puzzle

by surface9 <davsf@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Apr 10, 2008 at 07:21 PM

My grandson is 8 and learning fast. His school is not teaching
geography as fast as he wants to learn, so, I am looking for a good
geography book and puzzles for 3rd graders as a supplement. I would
really like to get him a large sized jigsaw puzzle where each piece
would be a state, with an appropriate color-code for distinction, and
with the name of the state along with the name of the capitol city of
the state. I imagine one that woulb be around 18" or 24" (bigger is
better) would be a good way for him to learn the fundamentals of USA
geography.

If anyone knows where such a puzzle can be bought, please repsond.

Also, I am interested in purchasing him study material, to supplement
his cl*****, that would teach geography in the style of the old World
Book Children's Encyclopedia. Any advice and references would be
appreciated.
