I think it is okay. Just as long as the students understand that you
are teaching them the arts of dance and actual dances, not "2005 grind
dancing". It's sad, but I think the dance culture has gotten a bit out
of hand. I think teaching students real dances is a great way to teach
them how much our culture has changed. When you are teaching pairs to
dance, you aren't making them get real close or even to become friends,
you are teaching them history. So I don't see any harm in it.
