I just finished developing a JavaScript-based text editor designed for
typing in French.
I think it could be useful for French learners, as it lets one enter
French
accents easily without memorizing Alt codes or installing hard-to-use
keyboard layouts. All you need to do is press a button with the right
character or use an intuitive keyboard shortcut (e.g. Ctrl+E for é; twice
for e, etc.)
