This really depends on the child's personality to some extent. She
may be too young to tell at this age though without simply racking
up some experience traveling with your daughter. Some kids take to
hotel rooms just fine. They doze off right away; others do not. You or
your husband will have to watch the child all the time, even in the
hotel room, but you might be able take turns going out in the evening
alone while the other stays in the hotel room to watch your daughter.
If your daughter needs peace and quiet to sleep, you could bring a
****table CD or cassette player and listen to music or an audio book with
headphones while your daughter sleeps. Another option to keep you busy
is to bring a small flashlight and a good book to read while your
daughter is sleeping if you're not tired. Yet another option is to bring
one of your daughter's grandparents along (or some other trusted adult)
and have them watch your daughter one or two nights while your husband
and you enjoy the sights and each other's company, or get stay in a
suite so that you can sit in a lighted room that's adjacent to where
your daughter sleeps.
