I very well might get flamed for this, but I don't know if I agree that a
person should have to lock their cabinet or lessen their amount of alcohol
because of one sneak episode.
Maybe if it happened a second time, but for the first time, I don't know
if
I'd agree that locks or less would be the thing to do.
I'd probably keep the liquor cabinet unlocked and stocked up as normal.
This might also make the son realize that although what he did was just a
stupid act, it might make him feel like he is still trusted to do the
right
thing (ie, stay out of the booze just because he's supposed to) and just
make him NOT feel like a bad little boy.
