I have no idea how to respond.  I haven't had to yet as mine aren't that 
old.

I will say that I was very much like your son and my advice would be to 
keep your eyes open.  Just because he is a good kid, a smart kid, and 
doesn't run around a lot doesn't mean he isn't going to drink again (or 
that he hasn't been for awhile).  I drank like a fish in high school. 
Nothing bad happened luckily but I did some very dangerous things.
