See I like the way you are thinking. One of the things I get around here 
(georgraphically not usenetly) is the idea that kids should do kid things.

Like kids in a box. One set of sisters I cared for ... did not know where 
their food came from. Dad watched them, Mom came home. Food. Obviously
that 
is extreme (and you have heard me be flabbergasted with them before).

There is so much in the world to understand. That does not take away from 
the fact that carting a bunch of daycare kids to the bank so you can go to

the beach Saturday morning is no Ok. But there is so much scope for cool 
trips that go beyond "kid" things.
