Re: brutal honesty please

Sorry got a little problem here. My son was 2 and was often attracted
to others toys. Always had him ask thats part of showing respect.I
also watched him because a melt down was inevitable when he needed to
give it up. I usually moved in before or during this because he would
be upset and I wanted the other family not to feel guilty or
responcible for his tears. The other parent should be more aware of
whats going on and get up and help her child transition. The fault
lies with her really ,however Im sure you will remember her and ask
her to remove the toy from her child and she will look at you blankly
and say why just go take it.Shes probably more peeved she had to get
up and comfort her child than sit .My bet is she depends on the 10
year old to watch the 2 year old (so in a way you did have the right
person helping you.
