Not everyone will be reading all the threads, and even the people who
were reading the main thread may have stopped (on some groups like
rec.boats.cruising, there stops being any reasonable responses after
about 25 posts and all it is after that is 'did to-did not' or ad
hominem attacks and general juvenile silliness). You can't do
anything about that. But for those people who are participating, one
post is enough and will probably reach anyone who cares.
