She's no fool - water in your nose burns! It must have been a good
enough dose too. Can't blame her one bit. She'll get back on that
horse eventually.

I don't really consider things that take convincing/cajoling out of
fear the child has developed as being necessarily oppostionally
defiant though or with trying to get them to eat their vegetables that
they obviously dislike. Now, if she were breaking rules such as
throwing rings in the pool after being told it was not allowed by an
authority figure, other than mom and dad, and a complete stranger, I
might actually get worried about oppositional defiant disorder if
other factors also played a role.
